Kings Shine During 5-Game Winning Streak

By Tracee Morgan | January 2, 2019

The squad looks to continue their winning ways into the new year on Thursday.

Coming off an unbeaten run at the G-League Showcase, Stockton had no intentions of leaving the wins in Las Vegas.

With their next matchups being against top-tier opponents, the opportunity was there to make a statement.

The Kings did just that.

Facing off with the Agua Caliente Clippers and the Memphis Hustle, the Kings boasted double-digit wins in both contests.

Two-way swingman Troy Williams came up big in both matchups — recording 18 points and 9 boards against the Clippers, with 25 points, 15 rebounds, 4 steals and 2 assists against Memphis.

On assignment from the Sacramento Kings, Harry Giles once again made his presence known. Coming off of the bench, Giles recorded 20 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in another visit to Stockton.

Stockton native Gabe Vincent, returning from injury, also put forth an excellent game, notching a game-high 25 points against the Clippers.

At 11-7, the Kings hope to continue their hot streak when they take on the Memphis Hustle once again on Thursday.
