Stockton Kings Soar To Defeat Salt Lake City Stars

The Stockton Kings (6-3), of the NBA G League, defeated the Salt Lake City Stars (3-6), 123-118, at Stockton Arena.

The Kings outscored the Stars 68-61 in the first half and clinched the lead in the fourth quarter closing out the game, 123-118. Kings guard DJ Steward led the way with 24 points and three rebounds. The Kings power forward Emanuel Terry followed shooting 21 points and grabbing eight rebounds. Stockton finished the game shooting .600 percent from the field, .515 percent from three and .923 percent from the free throw line.

Stars guard Carsen Edwards dominated scoring 31 points. Small forward Derrick Alston Jr. recorded 18 points, eight rebounds and two assists. Salt Lake finished the game shooting .500 percent from the field, .368 percent from three and .700 percent from the free throw line.

The Stockton Kings will take on the Iowa Wolves at Stockton Arena on January 28 at 7:00 PM PT. Fans can tune in to the game on ESPN+.
