Court to feature clean, modern look while representing the Central Valley — Local artists help unveil court in “gallery” of Stockton Kings themed paintings
In conjunction with Stockton Arts Week 2018, the Stockton Kings have unveiled their court design to be used during inaugural season. The court will present black as the primary color with accents of purple and white while donning the Stockton Kings primary logo.
Featuring a clean and modern approach, the court highlights the overall aesthetic of the parent organization, the Sacramento Kings, while providing a unique Stockton approach.
The black apron that outlines the court will complement the Stockton Kings home jerseys – which will also feature the primary black color with white and purple accents. The purple hardwood paint accents provide a pop of color while drawing focus to the center logo. The logo in purple sits at center court, highlighting the strong bond forming between Stockton and Sacramento. Proudly showcasing the pride of the Central Valley, the 209-area code sits in center court sidelines with Stockton running along the baselines.
On Tuesday, October 16, the Stockton Kings hosted fans and guests to an art gallery display showcasing artistic renditions from five local artists. The artists – Ruben Hernandez, Alex Suelto, Theodore Davis, Pete Juarez and Adam Perez – created their own vision of the team’s court to showcase Stockton’s growing art scene while supporting the city’s new team, before the Stockton Kings organization unveiled the official court.
The Stockton Kings will take to the new hardwood on November 2 at the Stockton Arena as they host Oklahoma City Blue for Opening Night. For tickets, visit StocktonKings.com.
