Mason Jones Named to All-NBA G League Second Team

Today, the G League announced that Stockton Kings guard Mason Jones has been named to the All-NBA G League Second Team.
Jones appeared in 23 games (23 starts) for Stockton, averaging 16.0 points, 5.2 rebounds and 8.3 assists in 33.3 minutes per game. He shot 51.3% from the field, 47.6% from distance and 83.6% from the free throw line in the regular season.
In the month of March, he notched the first Stockton Kings triple-double of the season against the Mexico City Capitanes (10 pts, 12 reb, 11 ast). He then scored a season-high 26 points against the Rip City Remix on March 17. He followed that up with another triple-double against the Santa Cruz Warriors (20 pts, 10 reb, 15 ast) on March 21, single handedly notching all triple-doubles for the Kings in the 2023-24 regular season.
Jones, who signed a two-way contract with the Sacramento Kings in February, led the team in assists (192) and ranked fourth in the G League in three-point field goal percentage (47.6%). Stockton went 20-3 with Jones in the lineup and finished with the G League’s best record (24-10). The guard totaled 20 games in the double digits this season, including eight 20-point games.
