Stockton Kings Acquire Brian Bowen II and Lance Thomas

The Stockton Kings, the NBA G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings, announced today that they have acquired guard-forward Brian Bowen II and forward Lance Thomas. 

Bowen II, 6-6, (Arthur Hill HS), began his professional career in the National Basketball League (2018-19) playing for the Sydney Kings in Australia where he averaged 6.3 points, 3.2 rebounds, 0.6 assists, 0.3 blocks, and 0.2 steals in 30 games. Following his time overseas, he went on to sign a two-way contract with the Indiana Pacers and the Indiana Mad Ants (2019-21) (formerly Fort Wayne Mad Ants). He then spent time with the Iowa Wolves (2021-22) and most recently suited up for the Cleveland Charge (2023-24). In 63 G League games, Bowen has shot 42.5% from the field and averaged 13.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.6 blocks. 

Thomas, 6-9, was drafted by the Oklahoma City Blue with the 26th pick in the 2023 NBA G League Draft. Thomas made several stops in his collegiate career. He appeared in 12 games at Louisville (2017-18), having averaged 2.2 points and 1.3 rebounds. Upon transferring to Memphis (2018-21), he redshirted his first season and went on to produce 3.7 ppg, 2.4 rpg, and 0.3 apg over 41 games. South Alabama marked his last stop where he set season-highs in points (12), three-pointers made (4), and three-pointers attempted (7).
