Stockton Kings Acquire Jon Elmore

Today, the Stockton Kings, the NBA G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings, announced that they have acquired guard Jon Elmore from the Cleveland Charge.  

Elmore, a 6-3 guard, played his entire collegiate career at Marshall University (2015-19), where he was Conference USA’s all-time leader in double-doubles with points and assists (17). A Lute Olson Player of the Year Award finalist (2018) and the C-USA Tournament MVP, Elmore led Marshall to its first C-USA Tournament trophy averaging 22.7 points, 8.7 assists and 5.3 rebounds over three games. 

After Marshall, Elmore played in Italy for Pallacanestro Trieste 2004 and Orlandina Basket. He went on to play in Greece (Ionikos Nikaias B.C.), Hungary (Soproni Kosárlabda Club), and Lithuania (BC Šiauliai), before joining the G League. Elmore joined the Sioux Falls Skyforce and most recently suited up for the Cleveland Charge. Across 38 career G League games, Elmore has shot 43.5% from the field and averaged 9.4 points, 3.4 rebounds, 5.1 assists, 1.3 steals, and 0.4 blocks.
