Stockton Kings Acquire Returning Player Rights to Leaky Black and Damari Monsanto

The Stockton Kings, the NBA G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings, announced today that they completed a three-team trade with the Capital City Go-Go and Sioux Falls Skyforce.

As part of the transaction, Stockton acquired the returning player rights to forward Rechon “Leaky” Black and guard Damari Monsanto from Capital City and forward Alex Fudge from Sioux Falls. In exchange, Stockton sent Sioux Falls the returning player rights to center Mo Bamba and guard Dexter Dennis, along with a 2027 first-round NBA G League draft pick originally belonging to Westchester and acquired via Cleveland.

Capital City acquired the returning player rights to forward Steve Settle III and guard Trevor Keels from Sioux Falls.

Black (6-6) has appeared in 41 NBA games with the Charlotte Hornets and Washington Wizards, averaging 4.3 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game. The Concord, North Carolina, native has played parts of three NBA G League seasons with the Greensboro Swarm and Capital City Go-Go, averaging 9.3 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.7 steals in 32 regular-season games.

Black played five seasons at North Carolina, appearing in a program-record 155 games and helping the Tar Heels reach the 2022 NCAA championship game. He earned ACC All-Defensive Team honors in consecutive seasons and graduated from North Carolina in May 2022.

Monsanto (6-6) played most of his rookie NBA G League season with Capital City in 2025-26. In 36 games, he averaged 10.6 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.1 assists while shooting 42.9% from 3-point range. The Pembroke Pines, Florida, native played college basketball at East Tennessee State, Wake Forest and UTSA, totaling 1,166 points and 290 made 3-pointers. He was named the Southern Conference Freshman of the Year in 2020-21.
