Stockton Kings Announce Fan Fest with Special Preseason Game, Opening Day Specials and Season Themes

Opening Day Sweepstakes for Courtside Seats Launches October 30

Today, the Stockton Kings announced their G League Fan Fest presented by Wilson and preseason game as well as plans for the upcoming season. 

“We are excited to welcome fans for another great season of basketball as we celebrate five years of being in Stockton,” said Stockton Kings Vice President of Business Operations Aaron Morales. “We are proud to be a part of the 209 community and look forward to continuing to make an impact on and off the court.”

Fan Fest and Preseason Game

On Sunday, November 5, the Stockton Kings will host their G League Fan Fest presented by Wilson and preseason game against the Salt Lake City Stars at Stockton Arena. The event is for fans of all-ages and is free to the public, with tickets required for admission. Complimentary tickets can be claimed now at StocktonKings.com/FanFest. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with the preseason game tipping off at 12 p.m. 

Fans will have the opportunity to enjoy music from DJ Kenzo, performances from Kings Dancers, mascot Dunkson and in-game host Tony Gladney.  Fans in attendance will get a first look at the Stockton Kings and stock up on gear at the team store ahead of the regular season. The event will also feature the expanded kid zone presented by First 5 that will be open all season, photo opportunities, a content creation station and special giveaways. 

Opening Day 

The Stockton Kings will host their Opening Day presented by Kaiser Permanente on Sunday, November 19 at 2 p.m. at Stockton Arena as the team takes on the South Bay Lakers. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a complimentary commemorative t-shirt courtesy of Kaiser Permanente. Fans can enter a special sweepstakes, starting October 30, for a chance to win two courtside seats to opening day at StocktonKings.com/OpeningDay. 2023-24 Theme Nights

In addition to the team’s home opener, the Stockton Kings will host a variety of theme nights throughout the season. The team will honor service members with Hoops for Troops (12/1) and teachers with Education Appreciation Night (1/13). The organization will celebrate Black History Night (2/10), Mental Health Awareness Night presented by CalHope (3/1), Hispanic Heritage Night (3/8), AAPI Night presented by Stockton Honda (3/10), Dunkson’s Birthday presented by First 5 California (3/17), Women’s Empowerment Night presented by Jamba (3/21) and Fan Appreciation Night presented by Red Hawk (3/23). Additionally, the team will host a Winter Wonderland Night presented by Red Hawk Resort + Casino (12/2), Sneaker Night and Hip Hop Night (1/27), 209 Night (2/9), Education Day with local students (2/28) and Marvel Night (3/2).
