Today, the Stockton Kings, the NBA G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings, announced activations for Opening Night on November 10 at Stockton Arena and select themed games ahead of the 2022-23 season.

“We are excited to welcome Kings fans back to Stockton Arena to tip-off another memorable season,” said Stockton Kings Vice President of Business Operations Aaron Morales. “Opening Night will launch exciting new activations for the season, renew fan favorites and celebrate the 209 community.”

Before tip-off, two-time WNBA champion and 2022 Finals MVP Las Vegas Aces guard Chelsea Gray, a Hayward native and former local standout at St. Mary’s High School of Stockton, will be on hand to meet with fans and take photographs with her MVP trophy. Also, during pre-game, Gray will be included in a presentation where the team will recognize local community heroes.

During the game, fans will have the opportunity to take advantage of exciting deals including the fan-favorite Family Feast with $3 beer, soda, hot dogs and popcorn available every Thursday this season and snag apparel at the newly revamped Team Store. The arena will feature a Kids Zone, presented by First 5 of San Joaquin, Thrive Zone, presented by Kaiser Permanente and a Content Creation Station on the concourse for fans to capture memories for social media. In-game entertainment will include a halftime performance by chin balancing act Kevin Shiflett. Themed Games for 2022-23 G League Season

In September, the Stockton Kings announced their full season schedule and the “Guess the Theme Night” sweepstakes offering fans a chance to predict the topics of this season’s games. Select fans who guessed correctly received exclusive prizes including autographed De’Aaron Fox and Neemias Queta jerseys, an autographed Keon Ellis basketball and tickets to select Kings games and events.

This year, the Stockton Kings will showcase several interactive themed games. The team will honor community heroes with Salute to Service (November 17) and First Responders Night (December 3). Stockton will celebrate various cultural and heritage nights, with Black History Night (February 23), AAPI Night (March 18) presented by Red Hawk Casino and Hispanic Heritage Night (March 22). The team will recognize local educators with Education Appreciation (January 14) and Education Day (February 28), host Marvel Night (March 4) and celebrate Dunkson’s Birthday presented by First 5 of San Joaquin (March 19). To show appreciation for the community, the team will host Fan Appreciation Night (March 24).
