Stockton Kings Announce Trade

The Stockton Kings, the NBA G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings, announced today that they have agreed to trade the returning player rights to forwards Wes Iwundu and Jericole Hellems, as well as their first-round pick (via Mexico City) in the 2024 NBA G League Player Draft to the Sioux Falls Skyforce in exchange for the returning player rights to Stanley Johnson.
Johnson, a 6-6 forward, was a former standout at the University of Arizona where he was named the Pac-12 Rookie of the Year and selected to the All-Pac-12 team in 2014-15. Johnson was selected with the eighth pick in the 2015 NBA draft by the Detroit Pistons where he spent three seasons from 2015-18. He has also spent time with the Toronto Raptors, Los Angeles Lakers, and San Antonio Spurs. In 449 career NBA appearances Johnson is averaging 6.2 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.5 assists.
