Stockton Kings Defeat Memphis Hustle to Earn Third Consecutive Home Won

The Stockton Kings (11-2) defeated the Memphis Hustle (8-2), 124-104, for their third consecutive home win on Thursday night at Stockton Arena. In addition, the Kings featured two new players in tonight’s victory in KZ Okpala and Josh Jackson, who both contributed 20-plus minutes.
Stockton guard Jordan Ford led all players with 25 points, marking a season high and his fifth game with a 20-plus point performance this season. Guard Keon Ellis notched 23 points on the night to pair with a season-high five three pointers. The two-way guard also contributed two rebounds and two assists in tonight’s win. Center Neemias Queta posted 12 points and six rebounds. Guard Trey Burke (19 points) and center Chance Comanche (10) each boasted double-digit performances off the bench.
Matt Hurt’s 21 points paced the Memphis Hustle, while Kenneth Lofton Jr. ended with 17 points. Justin Bean (16 points), Damien Jefferson (13), Jacob Gilyard (12) and Dakota Mathias (10) also contributed to the Hustle’s balanced scoring.
The Stockton Kings wrap up the two-game homestand against the Memphis Hustle on Saturday, Jan. 28 at Stockton Arena. Saturday’s tip is set for 5 p.m. PT.
