Stockton Kings Drop Conference Finals Against Oklahoma City Blue, 107-114

The Stockton Kings, the NBA G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings (25-11), fell to the Oklahoma City Blue (24-13), 107-114 on Sunday evening at Adventist Health Arena (formerly Stockton Arena).
The Blue’s center Olivier Sarr logged the first score of the game with an assist from forward Ousmane Dieng. Guard Adam Flagler hit two in the paint, creating a 4-0 lead. Kings guard Mason Jones hit two putting Stockton on the board 2-4. After the game tied 6-6, the Kings would take the lead for the remainder of the period with a 14-2 run helping to put them up 27-16. The Blue came out swinging at the start of the second frame, with Dieng putting up seven of the 10-point run. The Blue shot 66.7% from distance, with Flagler going 2-for-2 and guard Jahmi’us Ramsey going 3-for-5, helping Oklahoma City to take a 13-point lead by the end of the half, 58-45. Dieng and Ramsey led the half with scoring, logging 13 each. Dieng led with 10 rebounds, securing a double-double. The Blue maintained and extended their lead in the third frame. A 10-0 run helped the Blue take their biggest lead of the night at 85-67 with 1:45 left. Foul trouble allowed for some easy buckets, with the Blue shooting 100% from the free throw line. The Blue closed out the final frame, 107-114.
Kings forward Stanley Johnson led the game with 30 points and tallied six rebounds, four assists, four steals, and a block. Forward Jalen Slawson followed up with 26 points, six rebounds, four assists, three steals, and four blocks. Guard Deonte Burton recorded 15 points, two rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Jones put up 14 points, seven rebounds, eight assists, one steal, and a block.
Ramsey produced 29 points, eight rebounds, one assist, one steal, and a block. Dieng dialed in 23 points, 13 rebounds, four assists, three steals, and a block. Flagler punched in 21 points, two rebounds, five assists, and a steal. Forward Keyontae Johnson added 17 points, four rebounds, and two assists.
The Stockton Kings end the season with a 25-11 record.
