STOCKTON KINGS FALLS TO G LEAGUE IGNITE IN FINAL GAME OF SERIES

The Stockton Kings (5-3), the NBA G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings, fell to G League Ignite (3-4), 86-96, in the final game of a two-game series at Stockton Arena.

The Kings started out strong but lost the lead with two seconds left in the second quarter, closing the first half at 51-52. Kings guard DJ Steward led the way with 29 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assist. Kings two-way player Neemias Queta followed with 23 points, 14 rebounds and 2 assists. The Kings finished the game shooting .365 from the field, .317 from three and .545 from the free throw line.

Ignite was led by guard Scoot Henderson who had 27 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Ignite held the Kings to 35 points in the second half, leading to the 10-point victory. Ignite finished the game shooting .506 percent from the field, .267 percent from three and .643 percent from the free throw line.

The Stockton Kings will take on the South Bay Lakers at the Stockton Arena on December 10 at 7:00 p.m. PT. Fans can tune in to the game on ESPN+.
