The Stockton Kings, the NBA G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings (6-1), defeated the Iowa Wolves (1-5), 110-92 on Friday evening at Adventist Health Arena (formerly Stockton Arena).
The first half saw the Stockton Kings get off to a hot start shooting 57.5% from the field on 40 attempts and 52.4% from beyond the arc. Kings forward Jalen Slawson led the team with 16 points. Stockton Kings forward Jalen Nowell logged 10 points and guard Jeremy Lamb scored eight. The Stockton Kings registered three dunks in a minute – Labissiere with two and one for Slawson who later hit a three-point jump shot to end the half 63-46.
The Stockton Kings capped the game with 45 rebounds, 30 assists, five steals, and 12 blocked shots. Slawson led the game with 24 points, going eight-for-thirteen from the field and finished with seven rebounds, three assists, and a block. Lamb ended the night with a double-double, punching in 14 points and 11 rebounds.
